Pre-Lab
Directions/Description: This week we will continue our exploration of kinematics, looking at graphical representations of motion and examining the relationships between position, velocity, and acceleration. In the video below, I will provide some introductory information about velocity and acceleration and how the graphs are related. I also briefly demo the software for the lab. Please watch the video and then revisit the "Moving Man" simulation from last week, this time explicitly looking at the relationships between the graphs. When you are finished, please take the pre-lab quiz on Blackboard. Be sure that this is all done before coming to lab.

This week you will be completing the Graphing Motion: Match the Graph (Page 7) and Catch the Speeder (Page 13) labs from your lab manual. You will be using Pasco Capstone software and motion detectors to complete the labs.
